Hi Maurus,<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">2009/12/30 Maurus Cuelenaere <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:mcuelenaere@gmail.com" target="_blank">mcuelenaere@gmail.com</a>></span><br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
Hi You Sheng,<br>
<br>
I'm not sure if you remember me, but I've mailed you some time ago with questions regarding the SmartQ 5/7.<br>
I'm the person that is porting the SmartQ 7 to a newer Linux kernel (currently 2.6.31).<br></blockquote><div><br>Yes I remember you, you are always welcome. :) <br></div><div> </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
Now that the V5/V7 is released, we (Mer) were wondering whether there's any source code released for these devices (kernel, userland, ..)?<br></blockquote><div><br>TCC8900 kernel source code had pushed to mer-smartq-kernel repository with branch name smartqv.<br>
We can't provide bootloader, video decoder, 2D/3D accelerate source code for license reason.<br><br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
Especially since this device spots a new SoC (TCC8900?), which doesn't have any released kernel source code AFAIK, this would be helpful to get Mer running on it.<br>
<br>
I was also wondering what plans you have for your Samsung S3C6410-based devices, are you going to discontinue the Q5/7 series or are these going to exist alongside the V7?<br></blockquote><div>We will continue sell Q5/7 series . Yesterday we have release V5.2 firmware for Q5<br>
</div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
<br>
Thanks,<br><font color="#888888">
