[Esbox-users] Python Maemo development in ESBox

Hi everybody,

I have followed the Maemo Summit this weekend and really like what I
saw. I'm planning on getting a N900 for mydelf, so naturally I want to
start exploring the platform right away. :) I would like to develop
N900 apps with Python. I downloaded the Fremantle SDK and so far
everything is running properly. I can write and launch Python
applications from the scratchbox commandline.

Now I would like to start using ESBox for development. Creating a
sample Maemo C project (e.g. Hello World Makefile) works like a charm,
I can modify, build and execute the app directly from ESBox.
Unfortunately, no such luck with the Python example project. It always
complains that the interpreter is not correctly configured. I already
validated the installed packages. I tried both with the Milestone (M6)
and Integration releases of ESBox. Is there any additional information
I should provide? As I said, I can run Python examples from the
command line just fine.

Cheers,
Stephan
