Ever since the Tyrannis 1.2 update earlier this week, mEveMon is displaying "Error -5 while decompressing data" when trying to display training que/character info.  My characters still show up in the selection list, though.

Hi Grant, the error message looks like a zlib error, and since I think we only use zlib for compressing/decompressing our cached eve data, my guess would be that somehow the data got corrupted.

I would recommend removing any old cached data using the terminal ('rm -rf /var/run/eveapi/') and trying again.
