I agree, to an extent, but the issue is more complicated than simply not having enough news. Thankfully, this community is still active enough to be generating plenty of news, but the collection stage seems to be stumbling.

Perhaps it'd be easier to get a full load each week if we designated areas of responsibility instead of having a nebulous "anything interesting" description for what to collect? Would it be easier for you to sit down and grab all of the relevant stuff from Planet (or the Community forum, mailing list, etc.) from the past week rather than anything from anywhere that catches your eye?
