It seems that this bug is related to:
http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10997
So removing ROOTLESS_WORKAROUND from configure.ac fixes this
issue, so that composite can be used.
Easiest way to patch this is to download 1.7.1-3 version's source
from one of the cygwin mirror and compile it by hand and remove
the ROOTLESS_WORKAROUND. |

Cygwin 1.7 X server 1.7.3-1 has disabled Composite X server extension
which is required by Fremantle functionality.
