Mica -- Maemo IDE Common Architecture
Purpose and Scope
This project is the foundation of ESbox and PluThon . In reality, it forms the bulk of the code in those projects. By itself, it houses the abstractions that allow processes to be launched, files to be read/written, projects to be managed, etc. without specific knowledge of scratchbox, devices, or SDKs. The ESbox and PluThon projects have the specifics.
Prereleases
We're actively developing Mica and will make prereleases every two weeks as part of ESbox and PluThon. It will not be released on its own until the APIs are stable.
