Summary: User memberships not replicating |
Detailed description |
Ok, user records get replicated but membership records don't. So I actually am able to login with the testmidgard user
but assigning privileges is not possible because the user doesn't belong in any groups. |

There was an issue in replication order for memberships which
caused some memberships to be replicated with empty gid or pid
for the first time (group/person not yet in database), this was
aggravated by a clock skew between servers due to which
the memberships could not be replicated again due to "local
object being more recent".
The clocks are now kept in sync with NTP, and the replication
order has been worked around by importing the zip twice. |

I suppose this means memberships do not get replicated from internal
server to tmo (there is the garage->internal replication as
well, but it hasn't had any issues since it was taken into use),
when looking at the exported file both privilege and memberships
objects can be found inside.
For some reason the testmidgard user membership was replicated
incorrectly, the membership is in the DB, gid is correct but
uid is 0. |
